Cookies

What does a cookie do?

Cookies are a small text file consisting of letters and numbers that are sent from a web server and saved on your browser or device. We use different cookies that improve your experience, e.g. which pages people look at the most.

Session cookies: A short-lived cookie that is deleted when you leave the website and close your browser.

Durable cookies: As the name reveals, a long-lasting cookie that remains on your computer until you delete it or it is automatically deprecated. This cookie helps us, for example, to see which pages our visitors like.

Why are cookies used?

We use cookies because we want to offer you a better experience on the website and improve the services we offer. Some of our services need cookies to work properly, while other cookies improve the services for you.

Can I control the use of my cookies?

Yes you can! Your browser allows you to change the settings for the use and scope of cookies, then often called cookies. Go to the settings of your browser or device to learn more about adjusting these settings. Bear in mind that some of our services may not work if you block or delete cookies.

As a registered user

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

Forty-Two Coaching only shares your personal data with partner coaches who provide a service on the behalf of Forty-Two Coaching if this is necessary and for which you have given your explicit permission for. If we need to share your details with any other third party for the reason of executing coaching services we will explicitly ask for your permission prior to doing so.

How long we retain your data

Forty-Two Coaching does not save your personal data any longer than absolutely necessary beyond the purposes for which the data is collected.

If you use our contact forms to contact us regarding coaching services, we will keep the contact details of the enquirer for up to but no longer than 12 months.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
